When are RV jack pads required?
Technically speaking, any time you park your RV trailer and use the stabilizing jack, you should have a pad underneath. There are three primary reasons why a pad is necessary.
First, because you’re on uneven terrain. Perhaps there is a slight slope, or the ground is bumpy. Jack pads are also great for materials like gravel or dirt, as long as they are rated for that kind of support.
